Of Spanish descent, Ana began her flamenco journey at the age of seven, in Sevilla. As a teenager she studied with Carmen Cortes, El Guito, Manolete el Ciro and then Marco Flores, Manuel Linan, Immaculada Ortega and La Truco. Ana has performed with esteemed international performers Andres Pena and Luis de Luis in productions with Diana Reyes (in Australia), with Antonio Vargas Flamenco Dance Theatre, Los Carmonas, Veronica Gilmers Candela Flamenco Group, and Escuela Bolera with Anita Ortega. On her involvement in Dance of the Flames 2022 She wrote “I feel honoured to be part of a creative approach to flamenco that is adapted to cater for every audience in relaying what this art form’s music and dance can be adapted for; to understand the story through movement, sound and expression,” says Ana.
